Andy Pforr – Elementary Band Director at Lincoln, Washington, and Wilson/WSTEM – has been selected as a recipient of a Certificate of Excellence from the Civic Music Association of Milwaukee.
Mr. Pforr has worked at nearly every elementary school in Wauwatosa and has been a fixture of the district's elementary band program for 30 years, recruiting and inspiring thousands of students to begin a band instrument. He will be honored as part of a formal presentation during the 2025 Educator Awards Reception on March 9 at the Bradley Symphony Center.
